Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan yang ke 25 pada 23 Feb 2009

Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan yang ke 25 telah berlangsung pada 23hb Februari 2009 di Stadium Kebangsaan Brunei. Orang orang kitani banyak yang terlibat menjayakan sambutan ini seperti dari Kementerian / Jabatan, Sektor sektor swasta, Persatuan-persatuan, Sekolah-sekolah dan institusi institusi pengajian tinggi. Sebelum acara kemuncak berlangsung, latihan latihan perbarisan dan tarian giat dijalankan.

Salah seorang dari cucu Hj Mumin dan Hjh Saeriah telah ikut serta menjayakan sambutan tersebut. Miza Aqilah yang menuntut di Sekolah Menengah PAP Hjh Masna dalam Menengah 2I telah terpilih untuk menyertai sambutan itu. Latihan perbarisan telah bermula dari minggu kedua bulan Februari hinggalah kemuncak sambutan.

Satu perubahan yang sangat ketara, setelah hari hari membuat latihan ialah kulit muka Miza menjadi gelap akibat lama berjemur di panas terik matahari. Satu lagi yang membuat Miza penat ialah memulakan perbarisan dari kawasan Filing Station Anggerek Desa hingga ke Stadium. U just imagine betapa jauh nya mereka memulakan perbarisan. Iatah time patang kan Ugama tepaksa tah ia skip kelas Ugama kerana kengalihan, kesian....cucu nenek....kwang..kwang...kwang....kwanggggg...

Walaupun ngalih tapi semangat kemerdekaan atu mesti ada, ani adalah satu kenangan yang berharga dan pada masa akan datang ianya akan jadi ristaan.

Jigsaw Primary School in Jalan Berakas recently ushered in the Year of the Ox with an array of colourful performances.
Principal Helen Chin and parents of the students were among those present at the Chinese New Year celebration, which saw almost all students dressed in red.
The day saw prizes presented to the best performers and those best dressed for the event.
The winner of the Best Dance Troupe in upper primary category was the Primary Six female students, who staged a traditional Chinese dance.
The Best Dance Troupe in the lower primary category was won by Kindergarten II children who performed a Chinese Drum Dance.
Students of Primary 5 were the winners in the Best Lion Dance Troupe for upper primary category, while pupils from Primary 4 topped the Best Lion Dance & Dance Troupe in the upper primary category.
Meanwhile, Asna Sayyidah Nafeesa binti Hasnan was named as the Best Dressed' student, followed by Aida Syahmina binti Hj Abd Murad and Md Danish Ihtishamuddin.
The Best Card Design in the upper primary category was won by Nisa Karamina Jasmin bin Hussin, followed by Nurul Amanina Afiqah Binti Suhaimi and Nurul Awadah Nadiah Binti Suhaimi in second and third places respectively
Anati Nabielah binti Ahmad Rafiuddin took first place in the Best Card Design for lower primary, while Anati Naiemah binti Ahmad Rafiuddin took second place followed by Alisha Azaria binti Rahman in third place. The highlight of the day was the presentation of red packets the by principal to the students of the school. As a perfect closing to the celebration, a 130-metre-long roll of firecrackers was lit to ward the school of bad luck.

Chinese New Year Celebration at Jigsaw Primary School

Yesterday, 6 February 2009 Hj.Abd Murad Family attended Jigsaw Primary School, Chinese New Year Celebration. The event was officially opened with a Lion Dance and a Chinese dance performed by primary 6 student. Its was a very colourful event, where most of the children wore Chinese dresses or Cheong Sam.

Aida participated in Chinese Traditional Dance and a chinese fashion show. Sebelum Aida menari, she was asked to speak in Chinese. Then masa fashion show, she walked like a model, showed her New Chinese dress. Atu pun baju nya baru siap, Monday antar Thursday baru siap, atu baru ia emergency. Tapi nda apa-apa lah, Aida came in 2nd place for the best Chinese attire. Her dress was designed by me......siapa siapa yang kan minta design fashion china, just ask me to design it, Ewahhh jadi fashion designer tah ku karang ani.

Aqil menari Lion dance, Aqil menari dibahagian punggung Singa jadi inda tah nampak mua nya. Time Aqil menari atu, payah ku mencari yang mana satu Aqil. What I did is, cari kasut nya. So apa lagi gambar saja tia masa Aqil menari. At the end of the celebration they we given an Ang Pow from their principal. Apa lagi Hana, inda mau ketinggalan ia pun ikut bebaris untuk menerima Ang Pow. Pertunjukan permainan mercun nya orang badil juga di adakan dibelakang sekolah mereka.
